Photos don’t lie the way adjectives can. When a pipe lets go at 2 a.m. or mold creeps behind a baseboard, you want to see what actual recovery looks like, not read another paragraph of promises. The projects below are representative of the water, mold, and fire work our crews handle across Austin neighborhoods every month. We’ll keep adding real job photos here as we shoot them.

Recent Transformations
Water Damage Restoration: Slab Leak in a Hyde Park Bungalow
A copper supply line under a 1940s slab foundation split during a January freeze. The crawlspace and one bedroom’s hardwood floor took on standing water before the homeowner noticed. We extracted the water, pulled the affected flooring, and ran Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers and XPOWER air movers for six days, checking RH (relative humidity, the amount of moisture in the air) daily until the built-in readings matched the room’s normal baseline. The flooring was replaced and blends into the adjoining hallway seamlessly.
Mold Remediation: Bathroom Ventilation Failure in Mueller
A bathroom exhaust fan had been venting into the attic instead of outside, and Austin’s humid summers had done the rest. Black mold covered roughly 40 square feet of sheathing above the ceiling. We contained the area under negative air pressure, removed the damaged materials, and treated the remaining surfaces with an antimicrobial agent. The homeowner now has a correctly vented fan, and post-remediation air samples came back clean.
Fire Damage Restoration: Kitchen Grease Fire in Allandale
A stovetop grease fire spread to the range hood and cabinets before the homeowner smothered it. Soot coated every surface in the kitchen and a light layer reached the living room. We removed charred cabinets and drywall, cleaned all remaining surfaces, and ran air scrubbers for three days to clear the smoke smell. The rebuilt kitchen was painted, recabineted, and handed back ready to cook in.
Water Damage Restoration: Washing Machine Supply Line Failure in South Congress
A braided steel supply line behind a second-floor washing machine burst while the owner was at work. Water ran down through the floor into the garage below. We extracted from both levels, cut out soaked drywall, and set up Injectidry wall-drying mats to pull moisture from the interior wall cavities without removing all the drywall. Drying took five days. The repaired areas were primed, textured, and painted to match.
Mold Remediation: AC Condensate Overflow in Pflugerville
The primary AC drain line clogged during a July heat wave, and condensate backed up into the hallway closet. Mold developed behind the baseboards before anyone noticed the damp carpet. We removed the affected baseboards and drywall, dried the framing with Phoenix axial fans, and applied an EPA-registered antimicrobial. The closet was rebuilt and the drain line was rerouted with a secondary overflow pan wired to a float switch.
Water Damage Restoration: Water Heater Failure in Round Rock
A 12-year-old water heater in a garage utility closet rusted through at the bottom overnight, flooding the garage and a shared wall with the living room. We extracted standing water, cut out wet insulation and drywall, and dried the wall cavity with B-Air blowers for four days. The interior wall and garage framing were rebuilt, and the homeowner had the water heater replaced by a licensed plumber before we finished.
